The following awards are also available:

• Nominations for Collingwood Prize
o The Collingwood Prize was instituted and endowed in 1894 by Francis Collingwood, Past Secretary and M.ASCE. The prize is awarded to the author or authors of a paper describing an engineering work with which the author(s) have been directly connected; or recording investigations contributing to engineering knowledge to which the author(s) have contributed some essential part; and containing a rational digest of results.

• Submittals for Daniel W. Mead Prize for Younger Members
o The Daniel W. Mead Prize for Younger Members was established in 1939 to honor the memory and accomplishments of the 67th President of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The talents of many of the leaders of the profession were first recognized in previous contests for this significant professional honor. The current contest provides an opportunity for alert Young Civil Engineers to further their professional development and gain national attention.

• Nominations for Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award
o To recognize the professional contributions of Younger Members of the Society, Edmund Friedman, Past President of ASCE, contributed funds to establish the Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement. The Award was officially instituted by action of the Executive Committee of the ASCE Board of Direction in October 1972.

• Nominations for Young Government Civil Engineer of the Year Award
o This Award is presented annually to a distinguished young civil engineer for demonstrated leadership potential in and for significant contributions to public service engineering.
